Fresno Housing (Housing Authority of the City and County of Fresno)

Fresno, CA — two authorities behind one name, with separate city and county interest lists; the status of both and the properties open now.

Denver Housing Authority (DHA)

Denver, CO — no waiting list at all: DHA runs an annual lottery, and the next registration window is September 17 and 18, 2026.

Memphis Housing Authority (MHA)

Memphis, TN — the voucher list is closed, but five senior public housing lists are open right now, and a six-month rule quietly removes people who do not confirm.

Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA)

Columbus, OH — CMHA never says open or closed. It runs a continuous lottery pool where applying early buys nothing and applications expire after two years.

Indianapolis Housing Agency (IHA)

Indianapolis, IN — Section 8 closed since the 2016 lottery, on a page still quoting 2014 income limits. Six property offices are the real public-housing route.

Tulsa Housing Authority (THA)

Tampa Housing Authority (THA)
